on my way to the land of buff!

Plenty of huff & puff at the gym today. I ran on the treadmill for 90 seconds.
You may think 90 secs seems unimpressive but as I have been unable to let go of the rails up to now in 5&1/2 months I have only been able to manage a super speedy walk.
I will try for 2 mins tomorrow, I just need to psych myself into it!! I will not do a Cameron (Biggest Loser) and catapult myself off the back. I'll be fine, I can do it, I can do it (I hope!)

Tissue Issues

Work is closed for 2 days and I'm mad already!
Well mad enough to dye my hair purple anyway!!


Couldn't I have just read a book you ask...well yes but I was handed this fishy challenge and despite the fact that I am very un-girlie when it comes to hair and have not tried to colour my hair for probably 15+ years I have gone purple.
Actually I quite like it so HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Scooby Dooby Fun

Today I saw Scooby Doo Stagefright at the Princess Theatre with Lea, Adam & Chloe. They adopted me for the morning as I had no kids to take along to hide the fact that I really wanted to go.

Lea had got us excellent seats and the kids were on their best behaviour (Lea had obviously warned them that crazy kids give me the fear) The kids and I all got scooby t-shirts and afterwards we went for a drink at koko black in Collins Street.

Adam battled well with his sore leg and Chloe only got a bit of chocolate on her scooby t-shirt. It was lots of fun!!

Why do good things happen to beautiful people?
Why do beautiful people get hurt in horrible ways?
I'm not a beautiful person but I do love some beautiful people.
Why can't my love lessen their pain or protect them from horrible things?
If this could have been me or I could have stopped it with a word, thought or action I would have.
Why did this happen ??? I'M VERY ANGRY and I WISH IT WAS JUST A DREAM, a nightmare, a misunderstanding BUT IT ISN'T
